We're glad you're here and we welcome you to come worship with us this weekend. Our web site is designed to help you learn about us, what we believe and the ministries we offer.
We have worship times on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. in the Worship Center called "Worship West". We also have a worship services at 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Center (Gym) called "Worship East." We offer children, youth and adult Bible studies on Sunday mornings as well as a Wednesday night Bible study with a meal.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or need prayer.
Come visit us this Sunday and experience a fellowship of faith as we worship God together. We've put together a few frequently asked questions to help you find your way around. If you'll be visiting for the first time this weekend look for one of our many greeters or contact us and let us know you'll be visiting and we'll arrange for someone to show you around. They'll be able to help you find your way around the church campus. Click here for directions to our church.
Where Can I Park?
Due to traffic, it's best to arrive at least ten minutes before service begins. Visitor parking is available directly in front of the church for your convenience. Need directions?
What Should I Wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable. Some choose suits and dresses, some choose jeans and t-shirts. Come dressed as yourself. We want you to feel at home!
Is Childcare Available?
We have a staff of caring childcare workers to take care of your infant or toddler. There are Sunday school classes that are in attendance during morning services for older children. And don't worry, we've implemented a great notification system in our sanctuary in the event your child needs you.
Where is Morning Worship Service Held?
Our campus is setup around a central courtyard. Every Sunday morning there are always people in the courtyard as well as in the Worship Center and Multi-Purpose Room to help you find your way around. They'll be wearing greeter name tags. Worship services are held in our Worship Center (which will be to your left as you enter the church from the front main doors) as well as in our Multi-Purpose Room (Gym) (which will be to your right as you enter the church from the front main doors). Need directions?
What Kind of Music Can I Expect at 9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. in Worship West?
Worship West is led by our Minister of Worship and the Adult Choir and Orchestra. Worship at RHBC is always participative and Worship West is designed to connect you with God through the rich traditions of hymns, songs, praise choruses, scripture, prayer, drama, children & youth choirs, handbells, and more!
What Kind of Music Can I Expect at 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in Worship East?
Worship East is a service that is led by our worship band featuring modern worship music from churches and artists all over the world. There is a high-energy, celebratory feel to the service and participation is highly encouraged and expected. Whether we are clapping, singing, reflecting, or listening we hope our focus is only on Jesus Christ. Check out the Worship East blog here.
You can learn more about our music on the music ministry page.
What are Sunday Morning Worship Services Like?
Worship West has such a relaxed, welcoming environment, yet the power and richness of all the worship elements are top notch. This includes congregational hymn arrangements and worship medleys accompanied by orchestra, choir anthems, orchestra special songs, solos, videos, and drama. Each Sunday includes a moving congregational prayer time with option of kneeling and a message from our pastor.
In the Worship East Service you can expect the service to last about an hour. However, we encourage you to arrive early enough to greet one another while preparing our hearts and minds to worship Jesus. Our pre-service music is designed to encourage and energize all who are in the room so that they may prepare to lift their voices during the service together. We don't take the opportunity to gather together for granted and so we want to make the most of it!
Our pastor will then deliver the message. You can listen to a sermon online if you wish. In addition, you'll have a printed guide and a visual guide to help you through the message. The service ends with an invitation to know Christ personally.
What about Bible study?
Our children's Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowships offer a combination of small group Bible study with a fellowship of others. Download a copy of the Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowship Brochure or contact us to have a church staff member help you find the Bible study group that best fits you! If you're visiting for the first time we encourage you to visit a Sunday school class. Visit the Welcome Center right outside the sanctuary and someone will gladly help you find the right class for you or your children.
Ample handicapped parking is clearly marked. Ask an usher if you need special assistance on campus. Handicapped seating and lifts are available to assist you in seating. We also have hearing devices in the sanctuary to help you hear better each Sunday.
