Awana Clubs Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. This verse is the foundation for AWANA, which stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” Awana is a scripture based club for ages 3 through 6th Grade. The children learn scripture and do activities to earn awards and badges. There are three segments to our club time: council, game, and handbook. The Preschool and Children’s Ministries of Riverland Hills offers 3 clubs:
Clubs meet on Sunday afternoons from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Pick-up and drop-off for Cubbies is in the Preschool area – 3 year olds is in room 117 and 119 and 4 year olds is in room 124 and 126. Pick-up and drop-off for Sparks and T&T is in the Treehouse Room (B-101/103). The annual fee for new members is $30 or $10 to return to the same club. The maximum fee per family is $60. The fee covers the child’s vest, handbook, and other supplies.
