Sunday School Ministry
Each Sunday morning at 9:00 and 10:15 a.m., classes are offered for children birth through Kindergarten. We use the curriculum First Look by ReThink Group. “First Look is a curriculum that uses engaging activities to introduce pre-school children (ages one to five) to God. First Look gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them.” At 11:30 a.m. during Worship East, care is offered for children birth – kindergarten. Children will have a short Bible lesson based on the First Look Curriculum.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
This verse is the foundation for AWANA, which stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”
Awana is a scripture based club for ages 3 through 6th Grade. The children learn scripture and do activities to earn awards and badges. There are three segments to our club time: council, game, and handbook.
The Preschool and Children’s Ministries of Riverland Hills offer 3 clubs:
3 and 4 year olds
Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
3rd Grade through 6th Grade
